ABOUT
With this project CRAF’d aims to foster a sustainable, scalable, and well-governed ecosystem among stakeholders involved in crisis action. Strategic activities such as conferences and research supported by this project aim to connect data providers, practitioners, and policy experts to overcome the fragmented data landscape. NORCAP will act as the small grant manager and work closely with CRAF’d and its partners to enable ecosystem activities.

Through CRAF’d's initiative and NORCAP's small grant management, ecosystem activities supported through this project establish and leverage strategic partnerships across the humanitarian, development, and peace nexus. By connecting these partners and leveraging collective expertise, ecosystem activities amplify the impact of data-driven global crisis action.

NORCAP backed the inaugural Humanitarian Data Forum, celebrating a decade of the Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX). 130 participants from diverse sectors connected to foster a collaborative data ecosystem.

NORCAP supports the ongoing development of the CRAF'd Ecosystem Strategy. The strategy will improve crisis prevention, preparedness, and response, ensuring faster, better informed, and more equitable decisions.

DATA FOR PEACE CONFERENCE
NORCAP supported the NYU Center on International Cooperation in hosting the five-day hybrid Data for Peace Conference, where 1,500 participants engaged in 20 sessions on leveraging data to foster lasting peace.
