ABOUT
The project connects data providers, practitioners, policy experts and researchers across the CRAF’d ecosystem through conferences, capacity building, research and analysis. It also supports local data ecosystems and communities of practice. NORCAP acts as a small grants manager for CRAF'd, working closely with CRAF’d and its stakeholders.
OBJECTIVES
The project aims to strengthen a sustainable, scalable and well-governed data ecosystem that helps reach people in crisis-affected and fragile contexts earlier, faster, and in a more targeted and dignified way. By deepening knowledge, strengthening lasting connections and bringing together diverse perspectives, it seeks to improve the practical use of data for more strategic anticipation, prevention and response to complex risks.
Crises are growing in scale and complexity, yet too many critical decisions are still made without the data to guide them. NORCAP and CRAF'd are working together to close that gap — financing, connecting, and reshaping reliable data to save lives. This is the collective infrastructure that a coordinated and inclusive global response demands.
