CRAF’d was proud to support the Data for Peace Conference, hosted by the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, the NYU Center on International Cooperation, and AI for Peace.
Held from 15 to 17 June, the three-day conference brought together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and humanitarian actors to explore how data, analytics, and technology can strengthen crisis anticipation, prevention, and response. Across 57 sessions, 131+ speakers, and 1,200+ virtual registrants, the conference reflected the growing scale of a community working to close the gap between warning and action.
CRAF’d was pleased to contribute alongside partners and the wider crisis data ecosystem, including ACLED, Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC), UNDP, VIEWS, PRIO, United Nations Human Rights, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, the Norwegian Refugee Council, ICPAC, and many others.
