ACLED Explorer provides an intuitive, user-friendly platform for partners to filter, analyze, and visualize conflict data, producing clear tables and charts. With comprehensive coverage extending back to 2018, it enables exploration of event types, actors, locations, and evolving trends over time.

The Conflict Exposure Calculator combines ACLED’s event-based data with WorldPop estimates to assess civilian exposure and impact. By analyzing proximity, event type, violent actors, location, and timing, it helps partners understand risk and guide plans.

Published every six months since January 2023, the Conflict Index ranks countries according to conflict severity. It incorporates fatalities, conflict duration, civilian risk, geographic distribution, and fragmentation among armed groups, providing a comprehensive perspective on evolving conflict dynamics worldwide.
