ABOUT
INFORM Warning is a state-of-the-art innovative global risk monitoring tool designed to anticipate complex risks up to a year in advance, directly linked to crisis funding instruments. It transcends traditional methods by presenting multi-hazard information from diverse sources. Its unique analysis offers insights into risk trends, forecasts, scenarios, and potential events leading to crisis impact.
OBJECTIVES
With CRAF'd support, INFORM Warning helps ecosystem partners allocate resources earlier, faster, and a more targeted way. Part of the INFORM product family and backed by 35 global Consortium partners, it drives a coordinated, evidence-based strategy to reduce crisis impacts and build resilience. It develops a risk monitor aggregating dynamic indicators to track evolving crisis risk, provides country-specific warning levels flagging critical risk combinations, and deploys an open-source web interface for data exploration.
INFORM Warning transforms complex risk forecasts into clear, actionable insights – helping us both anticipate where crises may emerge and understand their potential impact. This allows us to act early to prevent crises from escalating.

LAUNCH OF INFORM WARNING
INFORM Warning was launched at the Data for Peace conference as the first open, globally comparable early warning system covering all crisis types. Developed by the 37-partner INFORM Consortium and hosted by UNDP, it translates complex risk data into simple warning levels up to 12 months ahead, with a public dashboard launching soon.
