ABOUT
INFORM Warning is an innovative global risk-monitoring tool that translates over 50 openly available multi-hazard data into forward-looking analysis of complex risks, up to a year in advance. Developed by the INFORM Consortium, the tool supports anticipatory action and funding decisions linked to more than $2 billion in annual crisis financing, helping donors allocate resources earlier with stronger evidence.
OBJECTIVES
INFORM Warning helps ecosystem partners drive a coordinated, evidence-based strategy to reduce crisis impacts and build resilience, through open, interactive platforms and insights. Its Risk Monitor brings together dynamic risk signals to track and prioritize changes in crisis risk, while Warning Levels and Crisis Alerts highlight contexts where rising risks could lead to significant impacts and provide analysis of potential crisis scenarios.
INFORM Warning transforms complex risk forecasts into clear, actionable insights – helping us both anticipate where crises may emerge and understand their potential impact. This allows us to act early to prevent crises from escalating.

LAUNCH OF INFORM WARNING
INFORM Warning was launched at the Data for Peace conference as the first open, globally comparable early warning system covering all crisis types. Developed by the 37-partner INFORM Consortium and hosted by UNDP, it translates complex risk data into simple warning levels up to 12 months ahead, with a public dashboard launching soon.
