ABOUT

With eEARTH, the International Crisis Group has established an environmental early action and risk tracking hub for the Horn of Africa. The platform analyzes how climate fragility, livelihoods, and conflict interact by combining data-driven pathway modeling with qualitative field research. Piloted in Somalia and South Sudan, eEARTH generates forward-looking assessments of climate-driven conflict risks, helping decision-makers better understand how environmental stress can translate into instability and humanitarian pressures.

With CRAF’d support, Crisis Group is launching eEARTH, a pioneering early warning initiative to prevent climate-related conflict.
